Welcome to CMSE 2024!
Organized by Faculty of Engineering and Green Technology (FEGT), Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, the 13th Global Conference on Materials Science and Engineering (CMSE 2024) will be held on November 17-20, 2024 in Kampar, Perak, Malaysia.The annual CMSE conference aims at providing an international academic platform for researchers and scholars to present their latest findings, and to facilitate networking and in-depth discussion in theoretical and experimental aspects of materials science and engineering. The past events were held successfully in Shenzhen (CMSE 2023), via Online (CMSE 2022&2021&2020), in Sanya (CMSE 2019), Xi’an (CMSE 2018), Beijing(CMSE 2017), Taiwan (CMSE 2016), Macau (CMSE 2015), Shanghai (CMSE 2014), Xianning (CMSE 2013), and Zhoushan (CMSE 2012), which have attracted over 1800 researchers, scientists and scholars from more than 50 countries and regions.
Following the successful practices of the previous editions, CMSE 2024 will continue to serve as an important platform for fostering international and interdisciplinary exchanges at the cutting-edge of Material Science and Engineering.
The plenary session of CMSE 2024 will include keynote speeches, invited speeches, oral presentations and poster presentations.
Kampar is the largest town of the eponymous Kampar District, Perak, Malaysia. It used to be one of the largest tin-producing areas in the world. Today, the district of Kampar is a blooming education hub and is known as a university town following the establishment of the Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman Kampar Campus. The town is flanked by picturesque mountains and scenic lakes which offers a naturally peaceful environment. There are many popular attractions, including Gua Tempurung, HOGA, Gaharu Tea Valley Gopeng, Kinta Tin Mining (Gravel Pump) Museum, making it worth a visit.

Unpublished and original papers are encouraged to submit via Online Submission System. All submitted full papers will go through the peer review process and acceptance will depend on the quality, originality, language and relevance.1. Accepted full papers will be submitted to the conference proceedings: Journal of Physics: Conference Series (Scopus / EI Compendex) for publication;
2. Selected full papers based on scope and peer review results will get published in international Journals. Some of the journals are listed as below:
