Welcome to CMSE 2025!
Organized by Northwestern Polytechnical University, the 14th Global Conference on Materials Science and Engineering (CMSE 2025) will be held on October 16-19, 2025, in Xi'an, Shaanxi, China.
Initiated in 2012, the CMSE conference has been successfully held for 13 editions in different cities, with CMSE 2024 in Kampar (Malaysia), CMSE 2023 in Shenzhen, CMSE 2022&2021&2020 via Online, CMSE 2019 in Sanya, CMSE 2018 in Xi’an, CMSE 2017 in Beijing, CMSE 2016 in Taiwan, CMSE 2015 in Macau, CMSE 2014 in Shanghai, CMSE 2013 in Xianning, and CMSE 2012 in Zhoushan. Over the years, the conference attracted more than 1900 researchers, scientists, and scholars from around the world, making it an important platform for exchanging innovative ideas and exploring future perspectives in the field of materials science while fostering meaningful relationships and collaborations among participants.
Xi'an, one of the oldest cities in China, is a treasure trove of history and culture. Known as Chang'an in ancient times, it served as the capital for 13 imperial dynasties, making it one of China's Four Great Ancient Capitals. Renowned for its abundant relics and sites and its cultural and historical significance, Xi’an has earned the title of a 'Natural History Museum'. The Museum of Terracotta Warriors and Horses is hailed as 'the eighth wonder of the world'. At the same time, the Mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shi Huang is listed on the World Heritage List, and the City Wall of the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) stands as the largest and best-preserved fortification from the Ming Dynasty.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we cordially invite scientists, experts, and young scholars to participate in CMSE 2025!
