Oral Presentation


With the aim to engage the participants in meaningful session for the exploration on scientific advancements, the conference has set several parallel sessions. Each session will contain at least 10 presentations, speakers need to adhere to the following guidelines to guarantee the success of the session.

1. Time Allocation

Notes:
  • Each presentation includes 2-5 minutes for preparation and Q&A / discussion.
  • All presenters are requested to reach the Session Room prior to the scheduled time and begin their presentation on time.
  • A reminder will be given by the session chair when 3 minutes were left.
  • No commercial advertisements are allowed during the presentation.
2. Presentation Preparation
  • Laptops equipped with Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365 Pro English (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and Adobe Reader.
  • LCD projectors, Screens, Laser pointers and Microphones.
  • The presentation PowerPoint or PDF should be formatted with figures and tables, plain text is inappropriate.
  • Speakers should have their presentation data ready in a memory stick and copy it to the laptop in the session room about 15 minutes before the session starts and make sure the PPT file could be displayed normally.
  • All speakers should inform the Session Chair (before the start of your Session) that you are ready to present.
3. Speaker Standards
Speakers Attire: Speakers are strongly encouraged to dress in business wear during presentations. Speakers should possess a comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of the subject they are presenting to effectively communicate information and ideas and to engage the audience. The conference language is English, and other language is unacceptable.
Presentation Skills: Presentation would be a topic of importance during conference session. Speakers should rehearse well in advance for the successful presentation with time management.
No commercial Advertisement: No commercial advertisements are allowed during the session.

4. Conference Attendance / Cancellation
In order to better arrange the sessions, if a registered speaker cannot show up on time or need to cancel the presentation, please inform the conference secretary immediately via cmse@cmseconf.org.

Poster Presentation


Poster Presentation provides an opportunity for effective one-to-one communication. To make a successful poster presentation, please be sure to review the following instructions:

  • Abstract of poster presentation should be submitted via Online Submission System. Please select "poster" for the presentation type while submitting your abstract
  • After acceptance, please design your poster based on the "Poster Template". The recommended poster size is 60cm*160cm or similar.
  • To ensure visual effectiveness of your poster, use large lettering and a minimum of text. Meticulous checking is required in all posters for typographic and grammatical mistakes and image (usage of color) quality.
  • Each presenter is required to stand by his/her poster for a better communication with other participants.
  • Put your poster up at least 1 hour prior to the start of the poster session.
  • Please make sure your Paper ID (CMSE****) is clearly shown in the header.
  • All presenters are responsible for removing their posters after presentation time. The Secretariat takes no responsibility for posters after that.
